Quick Callouts
The Real-Time Client provides agents with a window of options from which they can quickly access the most frequently used functions or information that they require.
A Quick Callout window is displayed when an agent clicks the Quick button in the agent's Launchbar:
To close or minimize the Launchbar, click the standard Close button on the right. To reopen the Launchbar, double-click the Launchbar icon
in your system tray.
Only one Quick Callout window can be displayed on an agent's screen. The contents of a Quick Callout window are determined by defining a callout, as described in Defining Callouts Using a New Blank Callout, and then selecting it to be used as a Quick Callout window.
You can define a condition that changes the callout to be shown as a Quick Callout window, for example, using a business rule, workflow, or event handler.
The Quick Callout window is similar to a callout window in that it displays information, images, links to callouts, links to launch in contexts, links to workflows, and so on. Similar to a standard callout window, the Quick Callout window automatically adjusts its content and becomes scrollable so that the content does not flow beyond the desktop boundaries.
To set a quick callout:
1. | Select the Quick Callouts branch in the project tree and then select the Quick branch. |
2. | In the Quick Callout field, select an existing callout to show that callout in the window when the agent clicks the Quick button. |
